Making a Difference: Which book(s) would you put in the hands of today's teenagers in hopes of making a difference in their lives?

I'm going to go with The Bible. If you want a book to change you life that's the one to read.

If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? And, why?

Hmm...Maybe the end of Pet Sematary. It was clear by the end that the main character had learned absolutely nothing from the previous crazy events. Another one I might change is Blood and Chocolate. (Spoiler Alert!) The author spends the whole novel setting up the relationship between the werewolf girl and the human and the wolf girl goes and chooses to be with another werewolf. I don't know why that bothered me so much but it did.

“What are you most looking forward to this fall/autumn season – A particular book release? Halloween? The leaves changing color? Cooler temperatures? A vacation? (If your next season is other than fall/autumn, tell us about it and what you are most looking forward to in your part of the world!)”

Well first of all my birthday is Sept. 2. Today! So I look forward to celebrating and eating cheese cake. Other wise I'm looking forward to finishing dances and performing with my dance company and hip hop crew. I am kind of looking forward to cooler weather, because I still have no air conditioning except for the one space AC in the living room. I would like to leave the living room when I am at home once and awhile.

I can kinda understand why you'd want to change the ending to Blood and Chocolate... Interesting answer.

Hopping through. I was reading your answer about Blood and Chocolate. I thought I'd read that one...now I'm thinking I haven't. Sounds different than what I thought.

That's so weird! I actually LOVED the ending to Blood and Chocolate - I got so mad when I saw the film, which is NOTHING like the book. I've always wanted a sequel, too. :)

I'm a new follower. Have a great weekend!
