Thursday Night Thoughts (6)

Hello all. I'm back. This has been a crazy week, so I'm glad to be able to write to relax. I'm writing with my feet soaking in warm water. It's great.

Topic 1: The Break Is Going To Break You

I came back to work after the 5 day Thanksgiving break and realized that nothing I need done is done. I really needed that week to get these dances where they need to be. Oh my goodness. The break was great while I was on it, but now I don't know if it was worth it. Ha ha.

Topic 2: Too Cool Tutus

I spent last Saturday and Sunday making tutus for some of my little ballet dancers. Lucky for me they were no sew since me and sewing don't mix. After tying something like 672 pieces of tulle to ribbon I thought my arms were going to fall off. It was worth it though because they turned out so cute. I think the little bits are going to love them.

Topic 3: Book News

I download my re-read book Valley of the Dolls to my phone with the Kindle app. I was so excited, because all my books are on my phone. Thus, they were very easy to take traveling on Thanksgiving. Plus, my paper back copy sort of fell apart. I couldn't believe I think it's only been read twice. Paperback books have issues.

In other news. Author David H. Burton, who wrote the current book I'm reading asked me to tell you guys that his book Scourge was released on Monday of this week. I just got a email from Scott Nicholson stating that the winners of the Kindle Giveaway Blog Tour will be selected Wednesday December 8.

That's all folks. I'll be posting the short story of the week tonight as well. First I've got to take my feet out of the tub they're soaking in. Keep it shiny!
