7 Things About Me

1. I am crocheting a baby blanket for a friend of mine. I think it's turning out nicely. It will have 3D roses in the center.

2. I invented a treat last weekend. Apple pie, vanilla ice cream, caramel and chocolate topping. All of it was sugar free too.

3. I studied dance for two months at the Alvin Ailey conservatory in the summer when I was 17.

4. I finished the the show order for next week's performance tonight. Hopefully after the show I'll get to read more. I really hope so.

5. I am a very messy person, but I am very organized when it comes to artistic things.

6. I live vicariously through fictional characters. Sad I know. I console myself with the idea that a few of you out there probably do the same thing.

7. Hmm...Okay my brain is starting to short out here. It does that quite often. Hey does that count as a fact about myself?

I guess I just got a little busy and overwhelmed with my work this week, and then when I wasn't busy I thought it best to just chill out in front of the TV. 1. I just finished reading Daddy's Little Girl today. Yay!

2. I've had Lady Gaga songs playing in my head since the beginning of the week.

3. I love Audrey Hepburn movies.

4. I just watched an episode of Beauty and The Beast. I LOVE that show!

5. I'm actually having issues come up with 7 facts right now. Ha ha. I guess I don't work well under pressure.

6. I've just discovered that I like shopping in catalogs. Not a good thing. The only thing that was keeping from being a shopaholic was the fact that hate the mall, and don't really like running around to stores in general. Okay, maybe I'm not a shopaholic yet. I do have some limits.

7. I can't wait to start teaching at my dance school full time next week. It will be exhausting, but rewarding.

1. I love cherries.I love the song Life is Just A Bowl of Cherries too.

2. My current favorite color is teal. As if you couldn't tell from the colors used in this blog.

3. I bought two more books today. Even though I promised myself I would read ten more of the books I already own before I got new ones. Oh well, reading is a healthy addiction.

4. My dog's name is Zeeburt.

5. My favorite dance moves are the ones that involve jumping.

6. I'm an only child, but that's okay because I love hanging with my mom.

7. I'm watching Golden Girls right this second. Such a funny little show.

Honest Blog Award!

Patricia over at Peace, Love, & Pat Book Reviews awarded me with the Honest Scrap Award. Thanks Sweetie. The rules are that you have to list 10 honest things about yourself, and then pass the award on to 10 other honest bloggers. I'll try to think of ten honest things that aren't boring.

1. I love to crochet. I love to make afghans with squares the best, but it's fun to make clothing as well.

2. I like to make lists. Which is why I started a list blog, even though it always takes me a while to write in on it. I still have fun when I do write.

3. I love children, but don't really want to have any of my own. The idea of giving birth quite frankly grosses me out. I mean I actually gaged when I wrote the definition of C-Section for Heath Science in high school. Isn't that sad.

4. My mother got me into rock music. I was always a musical theater nerd. My mom would expose me to a new band or song style, and I would would introduce her to a musical.

5. I write poetry and song lyrics. I'd really like to record my songs sometime.

6. I've trained in dance for 13 years. I started because I was obsessed with movie musicals as a kid, and realized that I would need to take dance if I ever wanted to be in a musical myself.

7. I'm am dyspraxic and have ADHD.

8. The song "See You Again" by Miley Cyrus makes me act like a crazy person. I mean silly dance and air microphone kind of crazy. Don't know what it is about that song, but I'm pretty sure my dance students think I'm pretty weird when I play the song in class.

9. I don't really like talking on the phone. You can't tell what peoples reactions to things are over the phone. For all I know I could truly offend someone, and not know it, all because I couldn't read their body language.

10. I have a love/hate relationship with run on sentences. I just can't stop writing with them. Yet, I've noticed that when authors of books write with them I become very annoyed. Perhaps I recognize the fatal grammatical flaws that I have myself more.
