Chapter 25: A Much Needed Update
Hello all! Wow! The days just slipped away from me. The time for hand making tutus came upon me. They're no sew but still a lot of work. I was worth it though. I tried them on my little dancers and they looked darn cute. I wish I had a picture of them to show you, but I got a new phone this weekend for a early Christmas present. I haven't gotten all my pictures sorted out yet. Maybe next time.
I got the week off work this week and totally got lazy. I was in the mood for a crime thriller this week, so I'm reading Along Came A Spider by James Patterson. That book is surprisingly relaxing for a thriller. I keep falling asleep on my couch while reading it. Today my mom was like, "you need to post something on your book blog." She reads my blog when she wants to wind down during a work break or before bed. Apparently I was totally messing with her day plan by not posting. Ha ha! I'm going to read a short story tonight. I'll probably post the review of it on Friday though because tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I also want to get my book review up this weekend. My computer flipped out when it came you my voice recognition software. Hence the hold up, but I think the problem is fixed. I'm going to work on the review more after writing this.
As for what I've been reading while I was gone I might have gone a little comic book crazy. That's okay because they were all fun. I did read some normal books in the form of The Mist, The Christmas Box, and The Christmas Carol. Can you believe it? I actually completed a Charles Dickens book for the first time in my life. I'm so happy!!! I've always wanted to and I finally did. However, I believe if all his books were as short as The Christmas Carol I would have had success much sooner. I'm going to review both Christmas books near the holiday to put you all in the holiday spirit. That's all folks. See you soon. Happy Thanksgiving!

haha, I'm so not surprised you fell asleep during a Patterson book. Goes to show what happens to the quality of your writing when you open up a book factory and produce like an assembly line instead of, oh, let's say actually using your talent. (Sorry, I'm just *really* not a fan of him and how he industrializes his writing. I'll quit my soapbox now!)
Hope you had a good Thanksgiving!
Smiles!
